How to Download LinkedIn Videos
Three steps. No software. No signup. Just paste and download.
Copy the LinkedIn Post URL
Find a LinkedIn post with a video you want to save. Click the three dots menu on the post and select 'Copy link to post'. You can also copy the URL directly from your browser address bar.
Paste and Click Download
Come back to this page and paste the URL into the input field above. Click the Download Video button and our tool will extract the video from LinkedIn's servers in a few seconds.
Save to Your Device
Preview the video right here in your browser. When you are happy with it, click Save to Device to download the MP4 file. Works on desktop, iPhone, Android, tablets, and any device with a browser.
Why Use This LinkedIn Video Downloader
Most video download tools are bloated with ads, require sketchy browser extensions, or demand your LinkedIn password. This one does not.
No Software to Install
Unlike most LinkedIn video downloaders, you do not need to install any desktop app, Chrome extension, or mobile app. Everything runs in your browser. Open this page, paste the URL, and download. That simple.
Private and Secure
We never ask for your LinkedIn login credentials. We never store the videos you download. We never track which posts you save. The entire process runs through a lightweight server request that extracts the video URL and delivers it to you.
Works on Every Device
iPhone, Android, iPad, Windows, Mac, Linux, Chromebook. If you have a web browser, you can use this tool. The interface adapts to your screen size, and the downloaded MP4 files play on virtually any device or video player.
Unlimited Downloads
There is no daily limit, no download cap, and no premium tier that unlocks more downloads. Use it once or use it fifty times a day. The tool is free because LinkedGrow believes useful tools build trust, and trust builds great products.
Which LinkedIn Videos Can You Download
Not every video on LinkedIn is downloadable. Here is what works and what does not, so you know before you paste a URL.
Native Video PostsSupported
Videos uploaded directly to LinkedIn by creators. These are the most common type and work with our downloader in nearly all cases. The video plays natively in the feed and is hosted on LinkedIn's own CDN servers, which means we can extract the direct MP4 source file.
LinkedIn Live ReplaysSupported
After a LinkedIn Live session ends, LinkedIn saves the recording as a regular video post on the host's profile. Once the replay is published, you can download it using the post URL. Active live streams cannot be captured until the session ends and the replay becomes available.
Shared Video Posts (Reposts)Supported
When someone reshares a video post, the repost URL still points to the original video source. Paste either the original post URL or the repost URL and our tool will locate the underlying video file from LinkedIn's servers.
LinkedIn Learning Course VideosNot supported
LinkedIn Learning videos are DRM-protected and hosted on a separate authenticated platform. These cannot be downloaded with any browser-based tool because LinkedIn encrypts the video stream and requires an active subscription session to decrypt playback.
Private or Connections-Only PostsNot supported
Videos shared with restricted visibility (connections only or specific groups) require authentication to access. Our tool works with public posts since it extracts videos without logging into any account. If you can view the post without being logged in, the video should work.
When to Use a Video Downloader
LinkedIn does not have a native download button for videos. Here is when saving a video offline comes in handy.
Save Training and Educational Content
LinkedIn is full of short tutorials, product demos, and expert explainers. Download them to watch offline during your commute, organize into playlists, or share with your team in a meeting where WiFi is unreliable.
Study Content That Performs Well
When you see a LinkedIn video post that got thousands of reactions, download it to study what made it work. Analyze the opening hook, pacing, editing style, and call to action so you can apply those patterns to your own LinkedIn content strategy.
Create Presentations and Reports
Building a competitive analysis or market research presentation? Download relevant LinkedIn video clips as reference material. Customer testimonials, product announcements, and industry insights are all fair game for internal presentations.
Supported URL Formats
Our tool recognizes all common LinkedIn post URL formats. Just copy and paste, we handle the rest.
