From WordPress to AI - A 15-year journey
In 2010, I started building WordPress themes from my apartment in France. What began as a hobby grew into OceanWP - a theme that now powers over 500,000 websites worldwide.
But something changed in 2024. I watched AI transform content creation overnight. LinkedIn was becoming the most important platform for professionals - yet the tools to succeed there were either terrible or terribly expensive.
The idea for LinkedGrow came from my own frustration. I was paying $49/month for a LinkedIn tool that limited me to 100 AI generations. Meanwhile, I knew the actual AI cost was maybe $2.
So I built LinkedGrow with a radical idea: what if users brought their own AI keys and paid the actual cost? No middleman markup. Unlimited generations. That is the BYOK revolution.
