Profile Settings
Manage your name, timezone, and theme preferences in LinkedGrow.
Accessing profile settings
Go to Settings from the sidebar to access all your profile and account settings.
Personal information
Name
Your display name appears in post previews and team views. Update it by editing the name field and clicking Save.
Your email address is displayed in your profile but cannot be changed. It is locked to the email you used when signing up (via LinkedIn or Google OAuth) and is shown as disabled with the note "Email cannot be changed."
Profile picture
Your profile picture is automatically imported from your LinkedIn or Google account when you sign up via OAuth. There is no manual upload option -- your avatar always reflects your connected account.
Timezone
Your timezone affects when scheduled posts are published. All times displayed in LinkedGrow use your configured timezone.
To set your timezone:
- Go to Settings
- Find the Timezone dropdown
- Select your timezone from the list of 37 timezones
- Or choose Auto detect to use your browser's timezone
Tip: If your audience is in a different timezone than you, consider setting your LinkedGrow timezone to match your audience. This makes scheduling more intuitive -- "9 AM" in the picker means 9 AM for your readers.
Theme
LinkedGrow supports three theme modes:
- Light -- Clean white background
- Dark -- Dark background for reduced eye strain
- System -- Follows your device's theme setting
Change the theme in Settings under the appearance section. Your preference persists across sessions and devices.
