Never Mention List
Prevent the AI from mentioning specific competitors, topics, or words in your generated content.
What is the Never Mention list?
The Never Mention list is a content filter that prevents the AI from using specific words, names, or topics in your generated content. It is a safeguard that ensures your posts stay on-brand and avoid sensitive subjects.
How to set it up
- Go to Settings
- Find the Never Mention field
- Enter the words, names, or topics you want the AI to avoid
- Click Save
You can enter multiple items separated by commas or new lines.
Common uses
Competitor names
If you do not want your content to accidentally mention or promote competitors, add their names to the list. For example, if you run a project management tool, you might add "Asana, Monday.com, Notion, ClickUp" to ensure your posts do not reference competing products.
Sensitive topics
Add topics that are not appropriate for your brand or audience. This might include political topics, controversial subjects, or industry-specific sensitive areas.
Overused buzzwords
If you want to avoid certain buzzwords or cliches that dilute your message, add them to the list. Examples: "synergy," "disrupt," "game-changer," "pivot."
Personal preferences
Some creators have specific words or phrases they simply do not like. The Never Mention list lets you filter these out automatically.
How the AI respects this list
When generating content, the AI checks your Never Mention list and actively avoids using any of the listed items. This applies to:
- Post generation
- Hook generation
- Idea generation
- AI Assist edits
- Content repurposing
The AI will find alternative words or rephrase sentences to avoid your blocked items while maintaining the message's intent.
Tips
- Start small - Add only the items you truly want to avoid. Too many restrictions can limit content quality.
- Be specific - "Competitor X" is better than "competitors" (which would block all mentions of any competitor, even when relevant).
- Review periodically - Remove items that are no longer relevant and add new ones as needed.
- Test the output - After updating your list, generate a few posts to verify the changes take effect.
