Content Calendar

Use the visual content calendar to plan, view, and manage your scheduled LinkedIn posts.

What is the Content Calendar?

The Content Calendar is a visual month-view interface that shows all your scheduled posts on their planned publish dates. It gives you a bird's-eye view of your content strategy and helps you maintain a consistent posting cadence.

How to use the calendar

Access the calendar by clicking Calendar in the sidebar.

Viewing scheduled posts

Each day on the calendar shows your scheduled posts for that date. Posts are displayed with:

  • A preview of the post content (first few lines)
  • The scheduled publish time
  • A status indicator

Click on any post to open it in the editor for viewing or editing.

Creating posts from the calendar

Click on any date to open a dropdown menu with the following options:

  • Create a post - Opens a post creation drawer within the calendar page where you can write and save a new post
  • Schedule a post - Opens the scheduling flow for that date
  • Insert an idea - Saves a content idea for that date

Choosing "Create a post" opens a side panel directly on the calendar page. It does not navigate you away to a separate editor page.

Editing scheduled posts

Click on an existing scheduled post on the calendar to open it. From there you can edit the content, change the scheduled time, or remove it from the schedule.

Planning your content strategy

The calendar is most valuable as a planning tool. Here are ways to use it effectively:

Spot gaps in your schedule

Scan the calendar for days without scheduled posts. If you want to post 3-5 times per week, look for weekdays that are empty and fill them in.

Balance content types

Use the calendar to ensure you are not posting the same type of content back to back. Alternate between educational posts, personal stories, tips, and promotional content for a balanced mix.

Plan around events

If you have a product launch, webinar, or industry event coming up, use the calendar to plan content leading up to and following the event.

Batch content creation

Many users find it most efficient to set aside one session per week for content creation. Use the calendar to plan topics for the week, generate all posts at once, and schedule them across the week.

Plan availability

The Content Calendar is available on Starter, Pro, and Business plans.
