How to publish posts to LinkedIn company pages you manage from LinkedGrow.
What is company page publishing?
In addition to posting on your personal LinkedIn profile, LinkedGrow lets you publish posts to LinkedIn company pages that you manage. This is useful for businesses, agencies, and marketing teams who manage company social media alongside personal branding.
How to select your posting target
After connecting your LinkedIn account, you can choose where posts are published:
- Go to Settings and find the LinkedIn section
- Look for the Posting target or Select target option
- Choose between:
- Personal profile - Posts go to your individual LinkedIn feed
- Company page - Posts go to a company page you administer
The selected target applies to all future posts until you change it.
Requirements
To post to a company page, you must:
- Be an admin of the company page on LinkedIn
- Have your LinkedIn account connected to LinkedGrow
- Have the company page listed in your posting target options
If you do not see a company page you manage, try disconnecting and reconnecting your LinkedIn account to refresh your permissions.
Switching between targets
You can switch between your personal profile and company pages at any time:
- Go to Settings > LinkedIn
- Change the posting target
- All new posts (published or scheduled) will go to the selected target
Previously published or scheduled posts are not affected by changing the target - they were sent to whichever target was selected when they were published or scheduled.
Limitations
- You can only post to company pages where you have admin access
- The same post cannot be published to both your personal profile and a company page simultaneously - you would need to create the post twice
- Some LinkedIn features may behave slightly differently between personal and company page posts
- Analytics for company page posts are tracked separately by LinkedIn
Best practices
- Use personal profiles for thought leadership - Posts from individuals typically get higher organic reach than company page posts
- Use company pages for official announcements - Product launches, company news, job postings, and official content
- Cross-promote - Share your company page posts from your personal profile to amplify reach
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule for both your personal profile and company page
