Managing Your Subscription
Learn how to upgrade, downgrade, manage payment methods, view invoices, and handle your LinkedGrow subscription through Stripe.
Overview
LinkedGrow uses Stripe to handle all billing and subscription management. This means your payment information is securely stored by Stripe and never touches our servers. You can manage most billing tasks directly from your LinkedGrow dashboard or through the Stripe billing portal.
Upgrading Your Plan
To upgrade to a higher plan:
- Go to Settings in the left sidebar
- Click on the Billing section
- Click Change Plan or View Plans to see available options
- You will be redirected to the upgrade page at
/dashboard/upgrade - Select the plan you want and confirm your selection
- Enter payment details if prompted
- Your new plan features are available immediately
When you upgrade mid-cycle, you are charged a prorated amount for the remaining days in your current billing period. For example, if you upgrade from Starter to Pro halfway through the month, you only pay the difference for the remaining days.
Downgrading Your Plan
To switch to a lower plan:
- Go to Settings in the left sidebar
- Click on the Billing section
- Click Change Plan or View Plans
- Select the lower plan you want and confirm
When you downgrade, your current plan stays active until the end of your billing period. After that, your account switches to the new plan. Any features exclusive to the higher plan will no longer be accessible after the switch.
Important: If you have more scheduled posts than your new plan allows, the oldest scheduled posts beyond the limit will be unscheduled. Make sure to publish or remove them before the downgrade takes effect.

All invoices include your plan details, billing period, and amount charged.
Switching Between Monthly and Yearly
You can switch between monthly and yearly billing at any time:
- Open the Stripe billing portal from Settings > Billing
- Click on your active subscription
- Select your preferred billing frequency
When switching from monthly to yearly, you receive the 30% annual discount immediately. The prorated difference is calculated and charged. When switching from yearly to monthly, the change takes effect at the end of your current annual period.
Cancellation
To cancel your subscription:
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Click Manage Billing to open the Stripe billing portal
- Follow the cancellation steps within the Stripe portal
After cancellation, your paid plan remains active until the end of your current billing period. Once it expires, your account reverts to the Free plan. You keep access to all your existing posts and data, but features exclusive to paid plans will no longer be available.
See Refunds and Cancellation for details on our refund policy.
Failed Payments
If a payment fails, Stripe will retry the charge several times over a few days. You will receive email notifications about the failed payment. If the payment continues to fail, your subscription may be paused until the issue is resolved.
To fix a failed payment, update your payment method in the Stripe billing portal and the next retry will use the new card.
